The
smell of saltwater creeps into your nose as the birds sing, while the sun starts
to peek over the crystal blue water. This is the typical morning in Jay
Leaman’s homeland. He was born in
Thailand,
but moved to
Canada
when he was 3. Since then he has been back three times, each time made him want
to go back more. He misses watching the sunset over the ocean or the color of
the water in the early hours of the morning. What Jay misses most is the
diverse vegetation and quick changing weather.
Volleyball, Badminton and sliding down the
stairs in a blanket are just some of his hobbies. The music program is a big
part in Jay’s school life, he helps tutor and is in the guitar class. Jay say’s
that he would like to be a music producer when he graduates from high school. Some
people would say that Jay is like a rock sitting on the edge of a cliff, he
just needs a kick start for his leap of faith. Family is the most important
thing to Jay; they are his light leading the way through life’s problems. Jay
hopes that if he can accomplish one thing in life, it would be to make a good
enough living to raise a family with no worries. Jay is… your typical dreamer.
